EXPECTATIONS
On the first day of school, we discussed some of the expectations and challenges that you will face as a member of my Language Arts class. Based on that discussion and the class syllabus, please post a sentence or two describing some of your own expectations and goals for this year. In addition, please describe some of the topics and activities that you look forward to experiencing in Language Arts class this year.

My expectations and goals are to work hard this year, get good grades and get into the best high school for next year. I'm ready and excited for this upcoming year in Language Arts and can't wait! Good luck everyone!
My goal in Language Arts in the upcoming year is to try to work hard and enjoy the books and topics we are discussing. I am particularly excited about reading Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream because it is a very well known classic that I knew I'd be reading at some point.
My goals are to stay more organized and hand in my work on time
Language Arts will be awesome this year..Can't wait to read A Midsummer Night's Dream...
My Expectations and goals for this school year are to, get good grades maintain my grades and just pass my catholic school test and get into the one i want the most.
This year my expectations and goals are to challenge myself more than last year and get alot out of this years language arts class. I also want to enhance my reading and writing skills.
This year in Language Arts I plan on focusing hard and not drifting away from the class. I plan on keeping my grades high and i plan on doing as much extra credit and help everyone in my class if they need it. I plan on starting early on my exit requriments an getting extra help in every subject that i need. This year i dont want to get and 9th periods or any BIP's and i will try my hardest to make my class easy for all of the teachers and all of the students.~*
My expectations and goals for this year are to expand my vocabulary. I would also like to use stronger verbs and other types of words in my writing.
My goal this year is to do excellent in school and to pass every class.I want to give 100%.I'm going to work really hard this year to get into the highschool I really want to get into and start my future in the next part of my life.I'm looking forward to graduating with all my friends,big ups to everybody,do a great job.

My expectations for this year are to work hard and try to take any rigorous challenges Mr. Gallo gives us. I really hope to get good grades and while in the process have fun! I am extremely excited to work on the A Midsummer Night's Dream project. It seems like a fun and challenging project.
I am kindo of afraid because its going to be alot harder than the other years. I really hope I can learn and try to avoid ninth periods. I also hope we have more field trips because the 5-6's barley had any.
My expectatins for this year is to not be destracted by silly things and do my best. I also want to get into a good higfh school and be as educated as possible.

My goals in Language arts class are to get good grades and stay consistent with my independent reading. I am looking forward to doing Midsummers Night dream.
What i look foward to this year in Language Arts is group work, field trips, and good books.
My goals this are to get good grades and just have fun learning...Its my first year in the 7-8s so im new with the teachers. I just hope I have a good year and a fun time!
My goals this year in Language Arts is to stay more organized, get less 9th periods, get used to reading books more often, and good grades.
I am going to focus more in 7th grade and not get distracted by my friends. I am excited this year for all the field trips because last year we didn't have any.
For the independent reading assignment, I'm planning on reading 5000 pages instead of 3500.
Also, I'm looking for better grades than last year. (not that they were bad...)
This year as an eighth grader, I am looking forward to exceeding my average grades and reading as much as I can. I am also looking forward to getting my grades back from the New Jersey Ask last year to see if I improved.

Hi! My expectations for this year is too do my best and not get below an 'o' in Language arts, or any other class for that matter. When Mr.Gallo said that this year wa sgoing to be " rigerous " i became a tad bit frightend. I'm going to do my best, my best is going to be off the charts!! I can't wait to do shakespeare. This is going to be a very interesting , but fun year!! I cant wait!! Good luck guys!!

My Expectations and goals this year is to get good grades, don't be late for classes, don't goof off, and be more serious in class.

Hi Mr.Gallo. My goal for this year is to get on top of my classwork and homework, get know 9th periods and get a better grade then I did last year. I will read alot this year so my goal is to read 20 books or higher.I dont know what i am excited about,but eveybody seems to say a midsummers dream so thats what im looking forward for. Also I am looking forward the NETS WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP! GO NETS!

my goals in L.A are to get all E's in every trimester and get all my work in on time....i will always try my hardest and i guess thats what really matters the most...... I'm totally ready for 7th grade!! :)

For this school year in Language Arts, my expectations are to complete all of my work on time, stay away from 9th periods and read without falling asleep. I'm looking forward to possibly having some field trips that will go along with our reading for the year. Mr. Gallo -- keep it real & fun!
